Remembering Lorne Kyle
Lorne and his wife, Rose Marie (Midge) passed away in December 2020. Lorne was an inaugural director of MB Buckwheat Growers Association. The Buckwheat and Oat industry came together to commemorate their lives with a bench overlooking the Valley in Morden, MB.
Insects in Buckwheat
John Gavloski with MB Ag provided an overview of MB insect pests in buckwheat. He stressed that not all insects we see in crops are bad and that buckwheat is 'friendly' to a lot of different beneficial insects. Learn more here.
