buckwheat is not a labelled allergen in canada

Buckwheat is not classified as a global priority allergen by the Codex Alimentarius Commission of the United Nations, but it is a known, potentially severe, allergen and its inclusion on mandatory labeling lists is considered at the regional or national level.

Health agencies around the world continue to monitor and track the potential of many food items as emerging allergens including buckwheat.
